Our Standards
Assured Performance Collision Care employs two levels of standards:
Qualifying Standards: The "Qualifying" standards serve as the mandatory criteria for being a qualified member of the network.
All Assured Performance Network Qualified Repair Businesses must comply with the "Qualifying Standards" and continuously adhere to
them. These standards have been developed based upon generally accepted requirements for conducting a collision repair business in

- Business Requirements
- Do you offer a written lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship?
- Do you use a paint brand that offers a lifetime warranty on paint applied?
- Is your business location in compliance with local zoning laws and acceptable retail standards?
- Do you have all local, state and federal licenses and permits, and operate in accordance with regulations?
- Do you have garage keepers liability and workers compensation insurance or equivalent?
- Do you get authorization for any additional services performed on the vehicle and price adjustments that may occur prior to the repair or replacement?
- Do you have a preferred rental provider on site, within walking distance of the shop, or that provides pick-up and delivery service if the customer chooses?
- Do you have a clean and presentable company vehicle to conduct valet "pick-up and delivery" service for a customer should they require such?
- Customer Orientation
- Do you utilize a CSI service and/or conduct your own satisfaction surveys?
- Is the signage and exterior presentation of the business in compliance with community standards?
- Do you have well-lit and obvious customer parking?
- Do you have an interior reception area?
- Do you have a standard phone greeting?
- Do you have a standard customer handling process?
- Do you have an insurer/appraiser account handling process for each DRP and insurer with which you are associated?
- Do you have a fax machine?
- Do you have the ability to send and receive emails?
- Do you have a website?
- Do you fully clean vehicles before returning them to their owners?
- Do you have complete vendor inventory for all customer transportation needs?
- Do you have an 800 number, and a 24/7 call center support for interested customers?
- Do your sales people/estimators use daily telemarketing follow-up call lists?
- Do you measure and monitor closing ratios for DRP and Non-DRP sales?

- Do you have a Computerized Management System?
- Do you have the ability to process credit cards?
- Do you provide your technicians with all of the tools and equipment necessary to perform efficient and proper repairs on all work you accept?

- Do you have the ability to produce computerized estimates?
- Do you have employee technical training for all of your staff? (i.e., I-CAR, ASE, paint, equipment or vehicle manufacturers)
- Do you have current structural specifications available if needed?
- Do you have a MIG welder?
- Are all of your technicians that weld trained and certified?
- Do you have the ability to fully hoist a vehicle for inspection or access to such if needed?
- Do you have a three dimensional measuring system?
- Do all of your technicians have training for using your measuring system?
- Do you have four-point anchoring systems?
- Do you have equipment and training to make simultaneous multiple structural pulls in the repair if necessary?
- Do you have a pressurized spray booth meeting current federal and local requirements?
- Do you have the ability to conduct/verify four-wheel alignment; in-house or a sublet provider?
- Do you have the ability to remove and reinstall suspension, engine and drive train; in-house or sublet?
- Do you have a paint mixing and baking system in your shop?
- Do you use HVLP spray equipment, gun cleaners, and other emissions reducing equipment?
- Do you have experts on staff or available who are qualified to diagnose airbags and safety restraints, and capable of completing OE-specified repairs in-house, or through a sublet provider?
- Do you have an A/C recycling system, or a qualified sublet provider?
- Does your training program include a tiered system of technician development?
- Are there signs directing your customers to the lobby?
- Is your reception counter inviting and friendly, and not a barrier between you and your customers?
- Is there adequate, comfortable seating that is clean and presentable?

- Do you meet regularly with insurance company representatives, vendors, other business professionals, civic groups, and government representatives?
- If you run print or broadcast advertising including magazines, newspapers, flyers, yellow pages, cable television, and/or radio, are the advertisements easy to read and understand?

- Regulatory Compliance
- Do you supply full safety suits with fresh air respirators for painters?
- Do you have all of the proper signage required by OSHA?
- Do you have all of the necessary Material Safety Data Sheets in-house and available to all employees?
- Do you have the appropriate type and number of fire extinguishers?
- Are signs posted to easily locate extinguishers?
- Are your fire extinguishers fully charged?
- Do you have proper eye flushing and wash areas?
- Do you maintain the OSHA logs regarding workplace accidents?
- Are all of your employees trained on "right-to-know" laws?
- Are your employees up-to-date on OSHA and EPA laws?
- Do you properly document, in accordance with OSHA, that your employees have received the required training?
- Do your technicians wear leather safety shoes or boots with steel toes as required by law?
- Do your technicians use some form of hearing protection as required by law?
- Do your technicians wear gloves, safety glasses, dust masks and other proper protection as required by law when operating grinders and other power equipment?
- Do your technicians wear gloves and respirators when mixing or working with adhesives and/or solvents as required by law?
- Do your technicians wear full-face shields, long sleeve shirts with collars closed, and respirators when welding as required by law?

- If and when conflicts or disputes arise with vendors, adjusters, or customers, do you have a special office or private area to deal with these problems that is out of earshot of other people in your reception area?
- Do you have a system to ensure that your customers are received promptly and in a courteous manner?
